Great Opportunity to work with animals
Since 1988, the second year of Pet Watchers existence,
we have relied on a small group of devoted animal
lovers to provide care to the ever-growing number
of our clients. These pet sitters come to us through many
sources to include client referrals, local veterinarians,
pet shops, animal organizations, and of course newpaper
advertisements. Our sitters have been with us for durations
of a few months to many years. People of all walks of life
have been pet sitters with Pet watchers over the years to
include teachers, retirees, homemakers, therapists, lawyers,
veterinarian technicians, artists, animal behavorists,
graduate and undergraduate students to name a few.
If you love to interact with animals of many types and are
looking for part-time active work you might really enjoy
working as a pet sitter. We have various shifts such as
daily 11-3, mornings 7-10 or evenings 6-9, weekends, as
well as combination of these. We pay sitters $5.50 per
visit to start which equates to $11.00 per hour. Our
sitters are independent contractors entitled to all the
deductions allowed for mileage, telephone, etc.
What we are expecting of applicants is a resume, personal
and business references, a familiarity with and love of
animals, a dependable insured car, and the ability to
physically manage walkings dogs(up to a mile each) and
climbing stairs to client's homes. If you are an active
